Author Biography

Samuel Amponsah, University of Ghana

Samuel Amponsah is a Professor of Open Distance Learning and Inclusive Online Education. He serves as the head of the Department of Distance Education at the University of Ghana. He is a fellow of the Global Challenges Research Fund and also a fellow of BECHS-Africa, supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Samuel has served as a PI or Co-I for several international projects funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund, the British Council and the Commonwealth of Learning. His research focuses on AI in Education, curriculum decolonisation, open distance learning and inclusive online education. Samuel is the editor for the Multidisciplinary Journal of Distance Education Studies (MJDES) and has contributed as a guest editor for numerous journals and book series.
