Jennifer Roberts, University of South Africa

Jennifer Roberts is an honorary professor in the Institute for Open and Distance Learning (IODL) at the University of South Africa. She has published extensively in the field of distance education, edited influential distance education journals, and presented keynote and other addresses both locally and internationally. She has previously been the vice president of the Australian Open and Distance Association (ODLAA) as well as their research officer. In addition, she is a founding member of the Centre for Open Educational Research (COER), which is an international research consortium established in 2018 to increase international collaborative research projects, furthering innovation and understanding in the areas of open education, educational technology, lifelong learning and international education.
